Hi. I’m Jessica.
I’m a writer, photographer and lifelong horse girl. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been in love with two things: words and horses.
There is a truth that can be said about every person — no matter where we come from or where we are going, we all have a story. And telling that story is powerful. Whether you’re a business that’s seeking to grow your brand and build relationships, or an individual who has something important to share, your words matter.
Let me help you bring your story to life.
I’m an experienced writer who has generated content across a broad spectrum of platforms. From drafting legal documents, to creating business letters that fit a variety of scenarios, to writing content for newsletters, web copy and social media accounts, I have the skills to get the job done.
Sometimes, you need to enhance your content by adding a visual component. That’s no problem! I’m also a photographer. I can provide you with quality images that supplement your written material and give dimension to your project.
I draw on my background as a legal professional and newspaper columnist to generate work that is engaging, professional, accurate and deadline-driven. I also pull from a lifetime of immersion in the Western horse industry, when and where it fits.
But most of all, my success as a writer simply rests against the power of the right words. They are always there. And they always have a story to tell.
Send me a note directly today or fill out this form to get the conversation started.
"Jessica provided cleanly written columns of a consistent length. While she was very knowledgeable about her subjects, what struck me was the heart she put into it."

My work…
Here are links that showcase a variety of the work I can create, including but not limited to: website copy, social media posts, editorial pieces, educational resources, and more.
Words and visuals are designed to support each other. While each piece can stand on its own, bringing the two together can be uniquely powerful. When I'm not holding a pen or typing on a keyboard, you will likely find me with a camera in my hand. I invite you to take a quick glance at my photography portfolio below.
